The "Refugees' Pavilion" we created for LDB 2018 was selected in the top 10 exhibits by Dezeen.

This time we're aiming higher.

Press from LDB 2018

We were featured on the New York Times panel discussing 'the power of design in public policy and international relations'.

The Refugees' Pavilion has also been featured by other press outlets, such as Creative Review, Monocle, Arabian Business, Gulf News, Zetteler, Global Times, Sight Magazine, as well as the UNHCR Refugee Brief and others.

In Monocle, Dr Christopher Turner, the Artistic Director of the London Design Biennale, cites the Refugee Pavilion as a prime example of how the exhibition achieves its aim.

“It acknowledges the unrepresented, showcasing some of the designs made within migrant camps,” he explains.

BACKGROUND

"Lotus of the Nile" reminds us that nature and technology are tightly connected, and humanity depends on both.

Rivers play a major role in the stories passed down through the years from our ancestors. From love at first sight and courtship, war, adventures and travel, these streams of water have had significance in all aspects of human culture, social, economical and political areas.

We learn from the Nile, the longest river in the world, we highlight the how humanity resonates with the river and its flow; the stories the river has to tell.
